Janine Gutierrez: “Very harsh ang rejection sa industriyang ito.”
JANINE GUTIERREZ – The actress talked about the challenges she has encountered on her showbiz career.
Janine is the daughter of Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon.
It was just recently when she transferred to ABS-CBN, albeit in the absence of her current station’s fresh, legislative franchise.
Before becoming a Kapamilya, she was a talent of GMA-7 for ten years.
But throughout her career, she has faced many challenges as an artist.
“Kung physical, prosthetics. Diyos ko ang hirap, four hours kaming nagkakabit ng prosthetics. Aside from that yung medyo mas malalim na sagot would be rejection. Very harsh ang rejection sa industriyang ito and yung wala kang magagawa, wala kang control kasi siyempre bilang artista nag-o-audition ka and of course ang pipikli yung mga producer, so there’s also a certain sense of sila talaga yung mga hawak nung career mo at nung opportunities at kinabukasan mo so that would have to be the hardest part,” she said.
She also revealed the reason why she won’t give up on top of those challenges.
“Parang if you stick it out, dadating din sa ‘yo yung gusto mo if you keep trying and if you keep doing your best. Gawin mo lang yung mga bagay that will bring you closer dun sa bagay na gusto mo talaga gawin. One step at a time makukuha mo din yung gusto mong gawin,” she said.
