A netizen is asking for help after her grandmother accidentally burnt her life savings amounting to P14,000.
SarahLie Gahis de Guzman was shocked as she shares the tragic incident on the social networking site, Facebook after her 95-year-old grandmother named Honorata Gahis accidentally set her P1,000 bills on fire.
According to her, it happened when her Lola Honorata was cooking.
She posted the incident with photos of the burnt life savings as well as the elderly woman hoping that Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas would replace them.
“Dahil po sa di inaasahang pangyayare ay naigatong o nasunog po ang kanyang pera 14,000 mahigit po at sana po mailapit ito sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas kung ito po ay pede pang mapalitan dahil siya po ay nagsasaing ng mga oras na nangyari po yun,” she said.
Her post was then flooded with comments and reactions from the netizens with some expressing their willingness to at least give any amount to the senior citizen.
