Catriona Gray: “I’ve been in a relationship with someone that didn’t really meet me at the same level of my faith and it was very, very difficult.”
CATRIONA GRAY – The Miss Universe 2018 talked about her “very, very difficult” past relationship in an interview with Edward Barber via Kumu on Wednesday.
Although she did not name who she’s referring to, it’s publicly known that before dating Sam, she came from a breakup with Filipino-German model Clint Bondad.
It was in February 2019 when she revealed that they have ended their 6-year relationship.
At present, she’s in a relationship with actor Sam Milby and they admitted that they are officially a couple last May 2020.
Sam and Catriona are both Christian and for her, having the same faith is vital in a relationship.
“I’m gonna speak for personal experience. I’ve been in a relationship with someone that didn’t really meet me at the same level of my faith and it was very, very difficult,” she said.
“I mean, I’m not saying it’s impossible. I mean for some people it can work,” she added.
Catriona added that it is also not good to dictate to a person what should be his/her religious belief.
Although it is still possible for two people of different faiths to become together, Catriona still prefers to stay with someone who has the same faith.
