Alex recently shared photos on her Instagram account wherein she marked her parents’ first vaccination by taking the effort to print out a “certificate of vaccination” and giving those certificates to them.

Alex quipped.

Alex also documented her parents’ vaccination day in her latest vlog released on her YouTube channel.

According to her, it took her weeks to convince her parents to get vaccinated against COVID-19. She also shared that her parents were senior citizens (A2 category) and had comorbidities (A3 category).

Alex also relayed that her parents were initially hesitant to be vaccinated.

Alex also admitted that she’s also hesitant herself in the beginning but she then realized that vaccination was very important since coronavirus variants were mutating. Her parents registered through web portals in three municipalities as they had residences in Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Taytay.

Dinaan po namin sa tamang proseso. Wala pong palakasan dito,” Alex stressed.

Alex also relayed that Taguig — among three municipalities — was the first to respond. She then accompanied her parents to the vaccination site in Taguig.

Pinty and Bonoy had received their first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine and will receive their second dose after 28 days.
