Actress Jennica Garcia confirmed that she and Alwyn Uytingco had broken up.
Actress Jennica Garcia recently confirmed that she and her husband actor Alwyn Uytingco had broken up after more than six years of marriage.
Jennica admitted in an exclusive virtual interview with GMA Entertainment that financial problems pushed her to return to show business after eight years.
However, she respectfully declined to respond when asked about the details of their separation.
“From a family-of-four, we are now just a family-of-three, sacrifices must really be made. That’s the most that I could say right now. That’s the most that I can say now. It’s the reason din kasi talaga kung bakit kinailangan [ko] bumalik sa pag-a-artista,” Jennica said.
The actress was part of GMA Network’s afternoon drama series “Las Hermanas” as she played the role of “Brenda” — the antagonist of Yasmien Kurdi’s character “Dorothy”.

Jennica shared that she’s grateful to GMA Network and thanked the Lord for blessing her with GMA Network because their arms were so welcoming towards her.
Now that Jennica was a single mom, she promised that she will stay in the showbiz industry for a long time.
“Definitely, definitely. If GMA is open and really welcoming me fully as an artist, my heart will be so happy,” Jennica said.
Prior to this, the actress took to social media as she shared her heartwarming letters to her daughters.
