Bossa nova singer Sitti on Wednesday shared a funny story when her friend almost set her up on a date with Filipino model Jon Hall.
Sitti, whose complete name was Sitti Navarro-Ramirez, posted a collage photo with Hall on Instagram and revealed how her friend almost set her up on a date with him.

According to her, she refused when she realized that her name would become “Sitti Hall” if all went well.
“Hindi talaga pwede kasi kung sakaling magkatuluyan kami, MAGIGING SITTI HALL PANGALAN KO! Kaya hindi talaga pwede! Hindi talaga!” Sitti shared.
Sitti also said that the funny story can be told, especially after she trended on Twitter following the “surname memes”.
On Monday, Sitti shared screen-captured photos on Instagram as she compiled some of the answers to the question “Ano ang apelido ni Sitti?”
Sitti, Nina, Jaya, and Kyla — singers who had been using mononyms for their respective stage names — were recently the subject of the “surname memes” on Twitter.
