Roque said that he will wait for 90 days before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that he will wait for 90 days before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine due to a prior coronavirus infection.
Roque disclosed in an interview on ANC that he signed up to be vaccinated over the weekend since he had comorbidities.
Under the national government’s vaccination priority list, persons with comorbidities who were not healthcare workers or senior citizens were under the A3 category.
According to Roque, he’s in the vaccination center on Sunday, but the lady who processed him said that they knew he had COVID.
Roque shared that he’s given a slot because he had comorbidities. However, Roque said that the lady told him that he had to wait 90 days before he’s vaccinated’ because he had tested positive for COVID-19.

“I proceeded to the center, I was very impressed. This was at the Emilio Aguinaldo Elementary School in Quezon City. I’d like to thank the doctors there but they did not give me my vaccination because they reminded me that as a positive, or someone who tested positive, I need to wait 90 days before I could get my vaccination,” Roque said.
Roque earlier admitted regretting not getting inoculated against COVID-19 at the Philippine General Hospital when the national government kicked off its vaccination drive last March 1, 2021.
Fifteen days after the start of the vaccination rollout, Roque announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and has since recovered.
