Kobe Paras Reveals Struggle With Depression After Returning to PH 4 Years Ago

Kobe Paras: “When I moved back to the Philippines 4 years ago, I was at my lowest.”

KOBE PARAS – The basketball star revealed on social media that he struggled with depression after returning to the country four (4) years ago.

On Thursday, he took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he opened up about it.

“When I moved back to the Philippines 4 years ago, I was at my lowest. I was depressed, suicidal, I just felt so lost,” he said.

“Until now there are days I don’t feel like me,” he added.

Before returning home, Kobe Paras played in his collegiate years in the United States.

In 2018, he became part of the University of the Philippines (UP) basketball team.

Recently, he joined East-West Private, an agency based in the US that handles Filipino athletes such as Cholo Anonuevo and Kai Sotto.

In fact, he has posted some photos of himself on social media during his training under the said agency.

In the last part of his tweet, he said: “Whatever you’re going through, find a purpose and stick to it. It’s not easy at all. Only you can save yourself.”

Kobe Paras is the son of basketball legend Benjie Paras and celebrity Jackie Forster.
