Kelley Day underwent the COVID-19 test, according to the Miss World Philippines organization.
Miss World Philippines organization recently gave an update saying Miss Eco Philippines Kelley Day underwent the COVID-19 test.
Last April 8, the Miss World Philippines organization gave an update on Instagram. In a statement, Miss Eco International Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria said that Kelley was “doing okay healthwise” and was waiting for her COVID-19 test result.
However, Vegafria said that Kelley can’t fly back to the Philippines since there were no available returning flights due to the ongoing ECQ lockdown in Metro Manila.
“In the meantime, she remains safe and secure in her hotel where she is enjoying her extended vacation, at the same time getting adequate attention to ensure her total wellness under the auspice and care of the Miss Eco International organizers,” Vegafria said in a statement.
Prior to this, Vegafria released a statement last April 6, 2021, saying that they’re “coordinating closely” with its partner organization in ensuring the safety and health of all candidates in the said pageant.
In addition, Vegafria said that Kelley remained their “topmost priority”, adding that they remained optimistic as they awaited the results of the organizers’ routinary testing procedures.
At present, Kelley was staying in a hotel in Egypt while waiting for her COVID-19 test result.
