After winning Best Actress at the 4th EDDYS award, actress Charlie Dizon recently shared details about her preparations for her new project.
In a report on PUSH, Charlie was one of the stars who believed in the importance of acting workshops following the “Best Actress” awards she received for the film “Fan Girl”.
Charlie was named “Best Actress” at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival awards night, followed by recognition as best actress again at the 4th EDDYS award for the film Fan Girl.
At the digital press conference of Star Magic Summer Workshop 2021, the actress said that she wanted to do a workshop for every project.

“Actually may gagawin po kasi akong teleserye. Nag workshop din po ako kasi hindi rin po ako umabot sa summer workshop ni direk Rahyan (Carlos), pero nag workshop din po ako kasi, ‘yun din po kasi ang lagi kong iniisip na parang kada project, since bago po siya, kailangan po talaga mag workshop at na wa-warm up po ulit,” Charlie said.
The actress admitted that the workshop was her “comfort zone” to give herself to the character being played.
And now that she had received two awards for her role as a fan in “Fan Girl”, she felt that she still needed to improve her acting skills on the next projects that will be given to her.
When asked if she felt pressure in her upcoming projects, Charlie replied “Honestly po, opo“.
