Latest advisory and updates on Bagyong Bising
PAGASA announced via its latest advisory that Typhoon (Bagyong) Bising slightly intensifies while moving Northwestward over the Philippine sea.
At 10:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon Bising was located at 645 km East of Maasin City, Southern Leyte or 545 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.8 °N, 130.7 °E).
It is traversing Northwestward at 20 km/h with a maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h.
The following areas are under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1:
LUZON – Sorsogon, Albay, the eastern portion of Camarines Sur (Siruma, Goa, Ocampo, Tigaon, Sagnay, Baao, Nabua, Bato, Iriga City, Buhi, Tinambac, Lagonoy, San Jose, Garchitorena, Presentacion, Caramoan), Ticao Island, and Catanduanes
VISAYAS – Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Camotes Islands
MINDANAO – Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte (including Siargao and Bucas Grande Islands), and Surigao del Sur
Meanwhile, here are the recorded updates on Bagyong Bising after it was categorized as a “typhoon.”
According to PAGASA, the next update about Typhoon Bising will be issued at 5PM today.
