Sarah Geronimo Speaks About Parents Daddy Delfin, Mommy Divine
SARAH GERONIMO – The Kapamilya actress-singer paid tribute to her parents, Daddy Delfin and Mommy Divine, in her “Tala” concert.
A lot of people were happy for Kapamilya stars Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli when they officially tied the knot last February 2020. It is what most people most especially the “AshMatt” fans and supporters are looking forward to.
Sarah and Matteo were together for over five (5) years already when they decided to tie the knot. It is no secret to the public that the actress-singer’s mom, Divine Geronimo, is not in favor of the actor for her daughter.
It was actually a very intimate wedding ceremony that surprised the people. Even the fellow celebrities of Matteo and Sarah were surprised to know that they tied the knot on that day.

Sadly, the wedding of the celebrity couple was surrounded by issues after Mommy Divine reportedly stormed to the wedding and had confrontations with Sarah and Matteo.
Neither Sarah nor Mommy Divine has spoke on the issue after it. Matteo and the actress-singer’s father, Delfin, also remained silent. The Popsters are hopeful that the actress-singer and her parents have already reconciled.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, although Sarah Geronimo has not spoken on whether or not she and her parents have reconciled, the actress-singer paid tribute to Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin in her “Tala” concert.
The “Tala” concert is a 2-hour film that streamed on KTX.ph and iWant TFC last March 27. In the said film, there’s a segment wherein footage of Sarah with Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin was shown. The said footage showed her mom accompanying her to showbiz events while her father singing with her during her concert in 2012.
Based on the report, while those footage with Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin were shown, Sarah Geronimo gave a message stressing the value of those that are “most important” to her.
“You can have all the riches in the world, lahat ng material things na gusto mo, pera na gusto mo, popularity na gusto mo, pero kung wala naman sa buhay mo ‘yung mga pinaka importante sa ‘yo, balewala lahat ng iyon,” the actress-singer said.
According to Sarah, life is not easy and everyone has personal issues but she is focusing on the positive side. She also thanked Matteo for being supportive of her and being the person she can rely to.
