Ronnie Liang scammed by a fake GCash agent
RONNIE LIANG – The singer took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he warned of a modus by a scammer pretending to be a GCash agent.
In a series of photos he shared on social media, he exposed the conversation she had with the scammer.
Ronnie Liang’s post was accompanied by the following caption: “BEWARE: Sharing with you the conversation I had with someone who pretended to be a Gcash Agent. The scammer was able to hack my gcash & took away thousands from my Gcash account. (nagtira pa ng 8.97 pesos) Sharing this to raise awareness of how these online scams are so rampant and how vulnerable the system is. Please share this post to spread information and to serve as warning to all the gcash users.”
In his post, Ronnie Liang mentioned: “GCash, Globe Telecom and GCash Users” with the hashtag; #scam #modusoperandi.
Meanwhile, his post was then flooded with reactions from the netizens.
GCash refers to a form of electronic money that allows customers who registered to GCash Service to easily and conveniently send and receive cash as well as make payments electronically.
