Singer Jennifer Lopez, popularly known as J.Lo, and former New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez have broken up.
J.Lo, 51, and Alex, 45, have been in a relationship for four years already.
They even bought a house in Miami worth $40 million last year.
The two confirmed their separation via a report published by TMZ.
At press time, Jennifer Lopez is in the Dominican Republic for the shooting of a movie.
On Thursday, Jennifer Lopez took to social media wherein she posted, “Find a good reason to laugh today.”
On the other hand, Alex posted a photo of himself while riding a boat in Florida.
Although many fans were shocked by their sudden split up, the separation between the two has already been arranged.
“This has been a long time coming,” a source from People magazine said.
“They are tied in their business worlds so it’s not a cut and dry break up. It’s taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all,” it added.
