Fugitive In Armed Robbery Arrested After Buying Call Of Duty Video Game
FUGITIVE IN ROBBERY ARRESTED – A fugitive involved in an armed robbery who has been hiding since November last year was recently arrested.
It seemed that the fugitive thought that robbery was fine. However, he drew the line at buying video games and wanted to pay for it himself. Unfortunately, this led to his demise as cops quickly found him the moment he went out of hiding.
According to an article from West Midlands, the man was identified as Clint Butler, a 36-year-old man who was on the run since November 28, 2020.
Apparently, the police caught him thanks to quarantine restriction protocols. When approached by police, he gave a false name and claimed that he game into town with a friend to buy the new Call of Duty game.
But, when the police found out who he was, he started to kick the cops in an attempt to escape. However, this wasn’t enough and the cops immediately arrested him with the court extending his sentences to 17 years. Supposedly his initial sentence would’ve ended in 2024.
Here is the video of the encounter:
