DITO Telecommunity revealed that its subscribers would receive texts or calls from other networks within March or April this year.
To recall, DITO recently signed an interconnection deal with Globe Telecom and PLDT a few weeks before its commercial launch last March 8.
The interconnection deal was a government mandate move to allow DITO subscribers to be able to send and receive texts and calls from other networks and vice versa.

On the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) tab found on its official website, DITO revealed that its subscribers would receive texts or calls from other networks within March or April this year.
However, the said deal was not activated yet as of this writing. DITO suggested its subscribers should take advantage of its unlimited data and use social media apps in order to connect with their friends and family.
“We are currently working with the other network providers for interconnectivity and expect that within the months of March or April of this year, you may already connect with subscribers from the other networks. In the meantime, may we suggest that you take advantage of our unlimited data and use such apps as FB Messenger, Viber, and Whatsapp to connect with your friends and family using other network providers,” DITO stated.
