Young Kapuso stars Abdul Raman and Shayne Sava recently shared their first impressions of each other as they’re both products of the 7th season of StarStruck.
In a report on GMA Entertainment, Abdul and Shayne were both products of the 7th season of GMA Network’s artista reality search “StarStruck”.
Abdul and Shayne were set to star in their first-ever drama series – the upcoming cultural drama series “Legal Wives”.
“Legal Wives” tells the story of a unique Muslim family wherein a man married three different women for different reasons. Shayne played Jamilah, a young woman from a wealthy Maranaw clan, while Abdul played the impoverished young man who fell in love with her.
Abdul and Shayne revealed in an online interview with selected members of the media including GMANetwork.com that they’re already being paired up during their days as contestants in “StarStruck”.

Abdul and Shayne also revealed their first impressions of each other.
According to Abdul, his first impression after seeing Shayne was that she’s “smart” and “just likes to act dumb”, adding that he’s glad to have gotten to know her better through their conversations.
Abdul also said that he just really found Shayne cute at first, adding that there’s this sort of attraction that he wanted to talk to her but there’s a little “hiya factor”.
He also said that he found out that “oh wow this girl is pretty smart” when they started to talk to each other as Shayne kept up with her conversation and also had a lot to say.
Shayne then admitted that she’s worried about Abdul being “masungit.” According to Shayne, she’s felt like Abdul was a “mysterious” type of guy when she first saw him.
“During ‘StarStruck,’ ang dami niya pong kinukuwento — ‘yung tungkol sa mga alien stuff, science stuff. Sabi ko, weird. Feeling ko din masungit siya noon kasi parang hindi siya masyadong namamansin sa iba tapos nage-English siya palagi. Sabi ko, hala hindi ko ito makaka-click. Noong nag-usap na po kami, doon ko napansin na or doon ko nasabi na kaya niya pala sumabay sa trip ko. Ang dami pala naming same po na gusto,” Shayne explained.
Abdul and Shayne were among the young Kapuso love teams to watch in GMA Network this year.
