2 Teenagers Accused of Setting Middle Aged Man on Fire
Two teenagers were accused of setting a middle aged man on fire, the male victim passes away due to severe burns and injuries.
A 53-year-old man identified as Steven Amenhauser passes away after two teens allegedly set his home in New York on fire. The culprits reportedly sprayed ignitable liquid at Steven’s residence last March 12, 2021.
The victim suffered severe second- and third- degree burns on most parts of his body. He was immediately brought to hospital but eventually passed away due to the fire incident.
The police authorities said that the male teenagers with age’s 14-years-old and 16-years-old have been charged with first-degree assault and second-degree arson. The two were also facing additional charges following the victim’s demise.
The police authorities are still searching for the suspects’ motive behind the incident. The cops also said that the incident is not related to domestic violence and the boys were not related.
Amenhauser passes away on March 16 due to his injuries. He had no other living relatives and living in his apartment alone. The cops are still trying to contact his family members.
