At least 11 people are currently facing charges over the death of Christine Angelica Dacera, a 23-year-old flight attendant who was found dead in a hotel in Makati City last January 1.
Dacera checked in at City Garden Grand Hotel together with her friends for the New Year celebration. They stayed in Room 2209 but was also introduced by one of their friends to some people staying in Room 2207.
According to her companions, they had hard drinks. The group also played some parlor games. However, what happened the next morning became a sensational issue.
Christine Dacera was reportedly found unconscious in a bathtub of their hotel room. She was rushed to Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.
The determined cause of the death of Dacera is ruptured aortic aneurysm but the family is not convinced by the results of the autopsy and the medico-legal report of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
