Realme was set to launch Realme GT 5G in China on March 4, 2021.
Realme recently announced that the company was set to launch Realme GT 5G in China on March 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. (China time).
Realme executives revealed earlier this month that its upcoming flagship phone — which was codenamed “Race” — would break cover after the Chinese New Year.
Since December 2020, Realme had been using the “Race” codename to tease its features. However, a couple of hints released by the company’s CMO Xu Qi had suggested that the said device may launch as the Realme GT in China.
Recently, the executive confirmed that the Realme GT 5G would go official on March 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm (China time).

The three icons placed at the bottom-left corner of the said poster (see photo above) seemed to suggest that chipset, refresh rate, and fast charging could be Realme GT 5G’s key features as it was already known that the said device would be fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform chipset.
Also, the Realme GT 5G was expected to sport an OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support.

Gizmochina reported that there were speculations that there could be an “advanced version” of the said device featuring a 6.81-inch OLED display and it was speculated to produce 3K resolution and up to 160Hz refresh rate.
As far as charging was concerned, the Realme GT 5G could be arriving in the market as Realme’s first smartphone with 125W UltraDart fast charging technology.
Meanwhile, a reliable tipster from China had claimed that the said device would be available in plain leather and glass back editions.
