Talent manager and comedian Ogie Diaz defended Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla who is now under a blind item by actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi.
Ogie and his partner Mama Loi discussed this in their Ogie Diaz Update uploaded yesterday on YouTube because many are wondering why Mariel is not reacting to Ivana’s allegations.
When Mama Loi asked if for example, he was Mariel’s manager, what would he advise the former host of “It’s Showtime.”
Ogie Diaz said: “Anong ipapayo, kung magsasalita siya o hindi? Ipapayo ko hindi! ‘Mariel makinig ka sa akin, huwag kang magsalita kasi letra lang ‘yung sinabi ni Ivana. Ang pangalan mo Mariel, hindi ka si M.”
To which Mama Loi responded: “Sa tingin mo ba si Mariel Rodriguez nga kaya ‘yan (letrang M).”
“Hindi natin alam kasi unang-unang sino tayo para mag-claim kung si Mariel ‘yun? E, ‘yun ngang nagsabi letra lang sinabi so paano tayo magko-conclude na si Mariel ‘yun?” Ogie explained.
Meanwhile, netizens assumed that Mariel Rodriguez is the “M” which Ivana Alawi referred to as the celebrity who shouted at her.
In a previous vlog, the actress-model shared something about a Kapamilya host who made her “pahiya” onset of a project.
While Ivana Alawi keeps mum on the person who allegedly yelled at her, netizens were quick to speculate that it was host Mariel Rodriguez.
However, Mariel has yet to issue any statement regarding the claims of netizens about her.
