During a televised briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night, Galvez said that economic frontliners were also among the Philippine government’s priorities in the COVID-19 vaccination drive.

Galvez also said that Metro Manila mayors also recommended including the economic frontliners among the Philippine government’s priorities for inoculation.

Earlier, Galvez said that the COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by Pfizer could be the first vaccine that will be used against COVID-19 in the Philippines as the COVAX Facility would have an early rollout of the said brand.
