A 90-year-old celebrant never saw his cake after he passed away on the day of his birthday party.
Recently, a home-based baker from Butuan City named Jackylou Sanchez Husain took to social media wherein she shared that she’s making a cake for a birthday celebrant.
But in an unexpected event, while she was frosting a cake around 4:30 in the morning, she allegedly received a message that the celebrant had passed away.
In her now-deleted Facebook post, Husain asked for advice on whether she would finish the cake and send it to the family of the deceased as condolence or not.
Many commented that she should pursue the cake and give it to the bereaved family.
But she insisted to give the two cakes with the only one having a frosting.
She said her client was ready to pay for the cakes but she decided not to pay for them.
