AJ Rafael received his Gold Play Button from YouTube
Filipino-American musician and social media celebrity AJ Rafael recently took to social media as he shared that he received his Gold Play button from YouTube.
This, as he successfully reached one million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
In his Instagram post, AJ shared photos of himself with his YouTube Gold Creator Award.
He then thanked his subscribers who supported him in his journey.
“Perseverance and hard work pays off even after 14 years!!! Thank you all again for 1M! Every time I look at this I’ll be reminded of those who supported me on this journey,” AJ said in his Instagram post.
The YouTube Gold Award is given to channels that have reached a million subscribers.
AJ, who produced hit songs “We Could Happen” and “Without You”, lived in Los Angeles, California, with his fellow Filipino-American girlfriend Alyssa Navarro.
Last December 31, 2020, AJ wrote a lengthy message on Instagram wherein he thanked his subscribers for supporting him as his YouTube channel reached one million subscribers before 2021.
“The road wasn’t easy. I had to overcome my own thoughts of doubt and failure through the years. But I got here with the support of many. It truly takes a village,” AJ said.
Meanwhile, AJ already has more than 1.01 million subscribers on YouTube as of this writing.
