Following reports that “Charlie’s Angels” star and Bond Girl Tanya Roberts was dead, Roberts’ publicist gave an update about her condition.
In a previous report, Roberts’ publicist and long-time friend Mike Pingel told USA TODAY that the actress died last January 3.
He also told the Hollywood Reporter that he’s devastated as the actress was “brilliant and beautiful and I feel like a light has been taken away“.

In a previous report on TMZ, he said that the actress was on a walk with her dogs on Christmas Eve and she collapsed when she returned home.
However, in a recent report on Newsweek, Tanya remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a fall in her home on Christmas Eve.
Mike told Newsweek that he had initially spread the news of Tanya’s death after speaking with Lance O’Brien on Sunday afternoon.
According to Mike, O’Brien had visited Tanya in the hospital on Sunday around 3:00 p.m. local time believing that she’s close to death.
He added that O’Brien then mistakenly told him that Tanya had passed. Mike, however, told Newsweek that the actress was still alive.
“Online, people are saying this was a hoax and just for promotional stuff, and it is not. She’s a very sick lady,” Mike told Newsweek.
