Regine Velasquez on Sarah Geronimo: “I’m sure may maganda naman siyang reason for not doing ASAP”
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez speaks about the absence of PopStar Royalty Sarah Geronimo from the previous episodes of “ASAP Natin’ To.”
Many have been missing the singer-actress who has been absent in the live production of ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime musical.
In fact, many waited for Sarah Geronimo for the first broadcast of “ASAP” on TV5 which is considered a historical TV event due to the combined forces of the Kapamilya and Kapatid network.
This prompt the press to ask Regine Velasquez during the virtual presscon of her digital Valentine concert “Freedom.”
According to Regine, Sarah Geronimo definitely has a “good reason” for her absence from the show.
“I haven’t been seeing her. I miss her a lot. She hasn’t been doing ASAP. I’m sure may maganda naman siyang reason for not doing ASAP,” she said.
“But a lot of people are missing her. Ang kaniyang mga Popsters miss her very, very much,” she added.
She also believes that the popstar royalty misses them already especially performing to her fans and supporters.
Regine Velasquez shared that, “I would always talk to her and encourage her and give her advice, but I don’t impose. I only give my advice when she asks for it.”
The last conversation they had was when Matteo Guidicelli’s wife texted to thank her husband Ogie Alcasid for the gift they sent.
