Flour Sacks Left Scattered on the Road Due to Truck Accident Causes Traffic Congestion
Numerous sacks of flour have been found scattered along Batasan-San Mateo Road after the delivery truck got into an accident.
On Thursday early morning (January 7, 2020), numerous sacks of flour have been damaged and scattered along the road due to accident. The truck driver identified as Mark Cahibe is driving along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City when the vehicle lost its brake.
The driver lost his control to the truck and struck into the center island and hits some electrical post before it turns upside down. The flour sacks inside the vehicle have been lefty scattered along the busy road.
The front portion of the truck has been severely damaged due to the impact and the passenger has been rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries due to the accident.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) used heavy equipment to lift and carry the truck. The incident causes traffic congestion in the area.
The agency continues to conduct a clearing operation along Batasan-San Mateo Road to remove the sacks of flour.
