KZ Tandingan shared why she welcomed the New Year on a “bittersweet” note.
KZ Tandingan recently shared her reason why she welcomed the New Year on a “bittersweet” note despite 2020 being a great year for her relationship with TJ Monterde.
Despite 2020 being a great year for her relationship with husband TJ Monterde whom she married last year, KZ shared that it didn’t end the way she wanted it to. As such, she opened the year 2021 on a “bittersweet” note.
KZ, who recently appeared on one of ABS-CBN Entertainment’s recent Kapamilya Chat episodes, shared that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic prevented them from celebrating the holidays with their parents whom they usually visited during Christmas and New Year.
Despite the circumstances, she said that she and her husband were able to visit Balesin Island for work which eventually became some sort of vacation.

According to her, 2020 was supposed to be a year that was full of exciting things to look forward to for both her and her husband.
Revealing her plans that didn’t push through in 2020, KZ shared that she and TJ were supposed to go abroad and study music.
If there’s one thing KZ learned from year 2020, it was to never plan out everything and just live in the moment.
“Tapos na-realize ko lang grabe I wasted a lot of days in 2019 worrying about what I should do sa 2020 or kung paano ko paplanunin ang 2020. Tapos ang ending, wala naman natuloy. So parang ngayon, na-realize ko na I should still be a planner, meron pa ring plano, meron pa ring vision. Meron pa ring direkyon. But I should just try to enjoy each day as it comes. Parang ganu’n. ‘Yung hindi ko muna hahayaan ang sarili ko na mag-worry about tomorrow because tomorrow is never promised,” KZ said.
