Carla Abellana gives update about her health
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana gave an update about her health condition and discussed her previous sickness and misdiagnosis.
Recently, she was interviewed by host-writer Jimpy Anarcon as she participates in “PEP Challenge.”

She answered the randomly typed questions in the Google search bar about her.
One of the questions is about the health of the Kapuso actress.

According to her, it was in 2019 when she was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and misdiagnosed with Asthma which resulted in liver damage.
Mayo Clinic defines Hypothyroidism as a condition in which your thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough of certain crucial hormones.
In terms of her misdiagnosed Asthma, she narrated how it happened.
She was coughing for three weeks at the time prompting her to seek advice from doctors.
One of which is a pulmonologist who told her to undergo series of tests and claimed she has Asthma. She was then advised to undergo medication such as using an inhaler, nebulizer, and Steroids.
Months later after consulting with another doctor, she found out that she doesn’t have Asthma.
As of today, she’s very okay and free from sickness.
