These buildings house key branches of our government which in turn provide basic and immediate services to our nation,” said Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.

Agustin also said that their new system would increase and augment capacity and extend coverage to provide wider service access inside those offices by upgrading their indoor solutions.

Moreover, Agustin said that the mentioned government offices would be 5G ready so internet services would be much faster and better.

According to Agustin, those efforts would help the Chief Executive, his cabinet, and lawmakers to communicate and update executive and legislative efforts that would best serve the people.

Globe Telecom had already submitted the design and upgrade proposals to the mentioned government offices and the proposals were expected to be finalized and approved within the month.

Once the project was approved, it would take at least 8 – 16 weeks to finish the 5G upgrade in the mentioned government offices.

As per the report, Globe Telecom laid out a 3-pronged strategy for its network upgrades and expansion.
