The death of Christine Angelica Dacera caught a lot of attention and elicited different sides from the public. Some believe that her death must be given justice while others are on the side that the respondents are innocent.
Dacera, a 23-year-old flight attendant of the Philippine Airlines (PAL), was found dead in a hotel in Makati City last January 1, 2021.
The flight attendant was with her friends in the hotel to celebrate the New Year. According to one of her companions, Rommel Galido, he found her unconscious in a bathtub when he came to wake her up in the morning of January 1.
The initial autopsy determined aneurysm as the cause of the death of Christine Dacera. Her family is not convinced that she died of natural death. Three (3) of her companions were previously detained.
One of those detained, Rommel Galido, previously said that Christine told him that Mark Anthony Rosales placed something in her drink. JP dela Serna claimed that he saw drugs from the socks of “Mark”.
Recently, the respondents in the Christine Dacera case changed their statements. They claimed that they were forced by the police to name someone in exchange of their freedom and they were really tired and could not think straight then.
