Update on Christine Dacera Case As Investigation Continues
CHRISTINE DACERA CASE – Another guest in the room 2207 in a Makati hotel appeared before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The probe in the death of flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera is currently ongoing. The police authorities and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) are checking on evidences that may help solve the case.
The 23-year-old flight attendant of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) was reportedly found dead in a bathtub in a hotel in Makati City last January 1, 2021.
Dacera was with her friends in City Garden Grand Hotel to celebrate the new year. According to her friends, they had hard drinks and they played parlor games. There were also instances when they visited the room adjacent to their room.
However, the next morning, Dacera’s friend Rommel Galido claimed that he found her unconscious in the bathtub of the room. They tried to revive her and rushed her to the hospital but she was declared dead on arrival.

The investigation on the Christine Dacera case is ongoing. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, another guest in the Room 2207 recently appeared before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Christine and her friends stayed in Room 2209. However, there were several instances when they visited Room 2207 as shown by the CCTV of the hotel.
Based on the report, the unnamed guest is identified as the 13th person that stayed in the Room 2207. He is from Tacloban.
NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin said that the said guest, through his lawyer, asked to be fetched so the authorities did.
“Sinundo namin. He knows his friends… Magkakilala sila. We thank them for the cooperation of their counsels,” Lavin said.
Currently, there are still no further information as to the statement of the said 13th guest in Room 2207. More updates may be posted soon.
