Xiaomi India had officially announced that the company was set to launch its new smartphone, the Mi 10i, on January 5, 2021, according to various reports.
Dubbed as “The Perfect 10”, the teaser poster showed that this smartphone would come equipped with a 108MP primary camera.
Gizmochina reported that the camera layout in the teaser poster showed that this device could be nothing but the rumored Mi 10i, which was said to be a rebadged version of Redmi Note9 Pro 5G.

Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, officially launched the China-exclusive Redmi Note 9 series last November.
One of the three devices in the said smartphone series, Redmi Note 9 4G had already been revealed for India as Redmi 9 Power with an additional 2MP macro lens.
91mobiles reported that Amazon had confirmed that the Mi 10i would be sold on the e-commerce platform in India. This means that the Mi 10i would be the first smartphone launch for Xiaomi India in 2021.
Meanwhile, a Twitter user shared a screen-captured photo revealing the color, memory, and storage variant.
Based on the screenshot obtained by Twitter user @Iamnil7, this smartphone would come in two colors — Pacific Sunrise and Midnight Black. In addition, it would have up to 8GB of internal memory and 128GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi will confirm the official specs, price, and availability of this smartphone once it launched in India as scheduled.
