WOMAN LEAVES PACKAGE FILLED WITH POOP – There are some neighborhoods wherein leaving a package unattended is dangerous.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, people flooded online shops such as Amazon in fear of catching COVID-19 inside malls. As such, there became a surge of package deliveries throughout the world.
However, there had also been thousands of reported stolen packages just outside peoples’ homes. Because of this, one woman though of an ingenious plan to see if this would also happen in her neighborhood.
According to Laurie Pringle, a resident of Hamilton, she’d had issues with stolen packages long before the pandemic began. So, she decided to fight back and left thieves with a smelly surprise.
To her surprise, the package didn’t take that long to steal. According to Narcity, the package was stolen just 40 mins after it was placed outside.
I have a very clear label for all my Amazon packages, indicating that they should ring my video doorbell. A couple of the couriers that Amazon uses almost never read the label, so that results in my packages being stolen fairly often.
Pringle was even able to capture the thief on video and claimed this wasn’t the first incident of the suspect stealing one of her packages.
