VICE GANDA – The comedian and It’s Showtime host took to social media wherein he admitted that he missed having an entry on the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

This is the first time that he did not had any entry on the annual film fest since 2014.

Recently, the comedian went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein revealed what he misses the most about having an MMFF entry.

“Dec. 25, 2020
Walang MMFF first day kaba and ngarag. Walang cinema tours. Walang mall tours. Walang kaliwa’t kanan na texts and calls from VIVA and Star Cinema kung magkano na ang gross every after screening hours. Tahimik lang. Kalmado lang. ibang iba. Kakamiss din,” he wrote.

His post was then flooded with reactions and comments from his fans and supporters.

Among the movie entries of Vice Ganda which became part of the annual film fest from 2014 up to 2019 are the following; The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin, Beauty and the Bestie, The Super Parental Guardians, The Revengers, Fantastica and The Mall, The Merrier.

Meanwhile, in this year’s local film fest, 10 movies will showcase different genres from action, comedy, horror, fantasy, and romance.

MMFF 2020 premiered online starting December 25 (Christmas Day) via film producer Dondon Monteverde’s Upstream and Globe Telecom’s GMovies.

It will be the first edition of the festival organized by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to be held online.
