This, as Samsung posted a short animated film that was previously teased on social media.
Although netizens thought that Samsung’s announcement was for its new Exynos 2100 chipset, the said announcement turned out that it was for a short film.
A 4-minute animated film titled “Exynos: Thank You” reminded us of Pixar’s animated movie “Up”. You can watch the full film below.

As seen in the description of the said video, Exynos team talked about how 2020 had been challenging for everyone — including the team itself.
According to Exynos team, the team had refocused their efforts to the expectations of their fans by developing a “whole new Mobile Processor”.
Although the Exynos team didn’t specifically mentioned the name of a “whole new Mobile Processor”, netizens started to believe that the short film was still a teaser for Samsung Exynos 2100.
There had been reports that the Samsung Exynos 2100 would be an “exceptional chipset” and it appeared Samsung was taking its time before it officially revealed the new chipset which would power the Samsung Galaxy S21 series when it launched roughly a month from today.
Meanwhile, TM Roh — the President and Head of Samsung’s mobile division — confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S21 series will arrive in January 2021.
