Despite only having a brief cameo, breakout star Brent Rambo appeared in Apple computers’ promotional video in the early ‘90s.

Towards the end of the promotional video, he was a kid who was having fun on a Mac computer in his classroom, writing to former Apple CEO John Sculley to tell him what a big fan he was.

It was last 2013 when an animated gif of Rambo’s “moment of approval” went viral and quickly became a meme.

It’s still a commonly-used reaction gif and can be easily found on GIPHY keyboard and database Facebook acquired earlier in 2020 in a deal worth around USD 400 million.

In a strange twist, news.com.au reported that it’s currently emerged Rambo also worked at Facebook.

Instagram engineer Benny Wong on Friday morning shared his discovery that Rambo was also a Facebook employee.

Other Facebook employees — including Sara Zhang — and those in the tech space quickly chimed in just to confirm the story.

In a Twitter post, Facebook staffer Sara Zhang shared that Rambo was in her new hire class and she’s shook too.

Meanwhile, tech leaker Jane Manchun Wong had confirmed Rambo’s employment at Facebook and tweeted that she’s looking up to him.

Brent Rambo’s own LinkedIn page also confirmed it as he had been the Director of Network Engineering and Infrastructure at Facebook since January until present.
