Pinoy Boxer Nonito Donaire Releases COVID-19 Test Result After Confirmatory Test
The popular Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire has finally released the result of his COVID-19 test result in retest.
A few days ago, the Pinoy boxing star Nonito Donaire has tested positive for the coronavirus disease. He was forced to withdraw from his bantamweight title bout against Emmanuel Rodriguez because of his test results.
However, Donaire and his camp want to push through the title match no matter what happens. The boxer undergone a confirmatory test again with the help of his beloved with and manager Rachel.
The 38-year-old athlete initially asked for a confirmatory test but the management reportedly refused to grant his plead. He paid and undergone the same type of test after doubting the result of the first COVID-19 test.
On Saturday (December 12, 2020), the Filipino boxing star announced on his Twitter account that he tested negative for his confirmatory test. He also shared the text message of his wife .
“On my wife’s message, NONE were RT PCR. They were all Molecular qualitative naat. Which is the one I retested on to make sure there are no arguments that it was a different type of test. Same type of test.”
