Lechon Stall in Las Piñas City Raided by NMIS Personnel Due to Foul Odor
The personnel of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) raided a lechon stall in Las Piñas City due to foul smell.
Nowadays, the Philippine government and the health authorities are implementing stricter rules and regulations when it comes to the cleanliness of food businesses and establishments. Food companies that will be caught violating the sanitation policy will face corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The National Meat Inspection Service officers conducted an inspection at a lechon stall in Las Piñas City. The agency received a complaint from a concerned netizens about the foul odor coming from the stall.
The officers inspected the area and noticed that the stall is clean, sanitized, and properly arranged. However, the authorities discovered that the store’s business permit is already expired.
The officers also found out that there are minors who were working as crew at the lechon stall. The authorities would also conduct an investigation regarding the matter aside from “illegal operation” charges.
Previously, the health personnel has raided the establishment for inspection due to sanitary issues.
