Lolit Solis defends Aiai delas Alas from criticisms following her rendition of Blackpink’s “Lovesick Girls.”
The entertainment columnist stressed that fans and supporters of the K-pop group should be happy instead of getting angry since a popular Filipina celebrity is imitating their idol.
In her post, Lolit Solis also recalled that moment Alden Richards was bashed online after the latter admitted that he has a crush on K-pop star Liza.

“Katawa talaga iyon bashing kay Aiai de las Alas dahil sa nagalit mga fans ng Black Pink Salve. Kung minsan hindi mo malaman kung bakit masyadong seryoso ang outlook sa buhay ng mga fans para hindi matanggap mga jokes regarding their idols. Naalala ko ng ibash nila si Alden Richards dahil lang sinabi nito na crush niya si Liza na isang popstar ng Korea. Nalimutan nila na top matinee idol ng Pilipinas si Alden na sikat din at isa ngang karangalan na sabihin crush nito ang idol nila. Now, ginamit ni Aiai sa kanyang comedy act ang kanta ng idol nila, di ba patunay na sikat sila para gamitin ni Aiai na isa rin malaking pangalan dito sa Pilipinas ? Hindi ba dapat natutuwa ka pag nagagamit iyon gawa ng idol mo ? Kailangan tslaga lawakan ng iba ang kanilang utak sa mga ganitong bagay. Imitation is the best proof that you are good, so matuwa , huwag magalit pag ginagaya noh.”
