In a Kapuso Brigade ZOOMustahan virtual event, Kara revealed that she had struggled because of the unforeseen changes that the health crisis had brought upon Filipinos.

According to her, she’s grateful to the “Bright Side” program because she knew that the height of anxiety was really high when the coronavirus pandemic began.

Nevertheless, she said that the challenges that the coronavirus pandemic brought also came with important life lessons for all.

Kara said that she realized that there were things that were more important — family, health, and safety.

Ayun. Kara said.

Kara also emphasized how the coronavirus pandemic had taught everyone to shift their focus from minding own wants and needs to being more selfless and lending a helping hand.

She also inspired everyone to live a better life in 2021 and the years to come by sharing three things that she said could make life happier and more beautiful — “magdasal, magpasalamat, at magmalasakit“.
