Project Malasakit donated essential supplies to far-flung schools in the Philippines.

Project Malasakit donated essential supplies to far-flung schools in the Philippines who would create a module for their students.

This, as Kara David — through Project Malasakit — wanted to give back to the community as she celebrated her birthday on Saturday.

In her Instagram post, Kara said that Project Malasakit conducted a birthday outreach for those who lived in the mountains annually.

However, due to the pandemic, Kara decided to provide an assistance to public school teachers who would create a module for their students instead of coundcting an outreach program.

Kara then thanked those who contributed for the said project as they were able to provide bond paper, printer, printer ink, and other supplies to remote schools in Pampanga, Mindoro, Bolinao, Romblon, Sierra Madre, and Quezon.

Handog para sa ating mga guro ❤️ Taun-taon, nagsasagawa ako ng bday outreach para sa mga kapatid natin sa kabundukan. Pero dahil sa pandemya, hindi ito posible ngayon. Imbes na outreach, ito ang ginawa naming proyekto: magbigay ng tulong sa mga public school teacher na gagawa ng module sa kanilang mga estudyante. Salamat sa lahat ng donors na nag-ambag para sa proyektong ito. Nakapagbigay na tayo ng bond paper, printer, printer ink sa mga malalayong eskwelahan sa Mindoro, Pampanga, Romblon, Bolinao, Quezon, at Sierra Madre. Aside from this, Kara received a set of paintings from one of Project Malasakit’s scholars.
