Staff Sergeant Jonel Nuezca To Be Dismissed from Service by PNP
JONEL NUEZCA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) spoke on the Staff Sergeant involved in the viral incident in Paniqui, Tarlac.
Recently, a tragic incident that sparked social media outrage took place in Tarlac. Many people are greatly disappointed over the actions of a policeman to his two civilian neighbors.
Police Staff Sergeant Jonel Nuezca went to his neighbors to investigate about “boga”, a bamboo equipment usually used to make sounds during the New Year celebration. However, the confrontation between him and Frank Gregorio heated up.
The cop wants the 25-year-old man arrested. His mother, Sonya Gregorio, intervened. The minor daughter of Nuezca was also present and she even told the woman that her father is a policeman.
Sonya responded to the child to the tune of 2in1’s song I Don’t Care. The scenario further escalated to the death of the Gregorios.

Many people now are calling for justice over the death of Sonya and Frank. Nuezca has surrendered to the authorities and is appealing help for his family.
Recently, the Philippine National Police (PNP) spoke about Jonel Nuezca whose rank is Staff Sergeant. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the PNP vowed to speed up his dismissal from service.
According to the report, in 2014, Nuezca was demoted over an extortion case. He is currently detained in the Paniqui Police Station.
PNP Chief General Debold Sinas said that the (National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) are already working together to speed up the dismissal of Staff Sergeant Jonel Nuezca.
“I could assure the public na madi-dismiss siya before the 30 days deadline,” the PNP Chief expressed.
