Jane de Leon has these words for her bashers
Actress Jane de Leon reacted to her bashers who still do not like her as the new Darna, as well as to those who have shown support for her.
Jane was hailed to play the iconic Pinay superhero on the big screen after Angel Locsin and Liza Soberano had to give up the role due to health reasons.
After she was named as the new Darna, many negative comments were thrown at her. However, her supporters are also ready to defend her against bashing.
Based on the article from The Philippine Star, Jane de Leon has addressed those who are saying that they don’t like her to play the Darna role.
“I think it’s very normal to feel down if it’s a negative comment. Kailangan lang talagang matuto akong mag-manage no’n kasi it’s normal sa showbiz. And I do understand also na wala pa naman, sino ba ‘ko? ‘Di ba totoo naman? Baguhan ‘to. Saan nanggaling ‘to? Ayon ‘yung mga tanong ng mga netizens,” she said.
Jane also said that she has been asking herself why she was chosen. She added that she is praying to have projects but she did not expect that the Darna role will be given to her.
The actress, on the other hand, said that the positive comments are keeping her motivated. She thanked those who have been expressing support for her and those people who believe that she can pull this off.
“Pero po ‘yung suportang binibigay niyo sa akin is hindi kayo nag-give up, salamat din po sa pagbibigay niyo ng positivity. Maraming salamat po,” Jane de Leon expressed.
Meanwhile, after the postponement of the movie production due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ABS-CBN decided to continue the Darna project in 2021 but it will be as a TV series.
