iQOO was set to launch iQOO 7 In China
iQOO officially confirmed on social media that the company was set to launch iQOO in China on January 11, 2021, at 7:30 PM (local time).
This, as iQOO released an image of the smartphone’s BMW edition in order to confirm the existence of the said device earlier this month.
Gizmochina reported that the official poster of iQOO 7 BMW edition (see photo above) had revealed its rear design and the said handset was seen sporting a triple-rear camera setup that was arranged in a triangle pattern.
In addition, the special BMW version has a white rear with blue and red stripes at the right side.
The front design of the said handset was yet to be revealed. However, reports surrounding it claimed that the said device could be featuring the same display that was available on the vivo X60 series that went official recently in China.
Hence, the said handset was expected to feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED centered punch-hole display.

The handset’s display may probably offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, this device could be also equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Moreover, the said handset promised a top-notch performance as it would feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform like the predecessor models.
There’s no word on the front camera of the said handset, but the triple-rear camera setup may feature a 48MP main camera with OIS support.
In a report on Gizmochina, Chinese retailer JD.com had started receiving reservations for the said device ahead of the company’s upcoming launch event.
