Google and Billboard revealed Top 100 Hummed Songs for 2020
Billboard magazine, in collaboration with Google, had officially released the Top 100 Hummed Songs for the year 2020.
At Google Search On earlier this year, the Google Assistant gained “Hum to Search” — Google Assistant’s new feature that has the ability to match songs based solely on your humming.
According to Google, “Hum to Search” was capable of recognizing more than 500,000 songs regardless of whether you hum, whistle, or sing the song you were looking for.
In order to make this possible, Google had to distill the songs down to numbers representing their melodies.

Since launching, Google Assistant’s “Hum to Search” became a popular way to identify a certain song stucked in your head.
With this, Google has collaborated with Billboard magazine in order to chart the top 100 songs found through “Hum to Search” to commemorate the feature and the upcoming end of 2020.
The number one most-hummed track was “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X, followed by “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley and “Dance Monkey” by Tones And I.
Other internet classics could be found further down the Billboard chart of “Hum to Search” tracks, including “Baby Shark” by Pinkfong and “All Star” by Smash Mouth.
