Some of the popular celebrities have come together to express an encouraging message, as well as prayers, for Zoey- the daughter of Anthony Taberna who’s diagnosed with leukemia.
It was on December 2, 2019, when Zoey was diagnosed with leukemia.
On Wednesday, exactly one year since the family found out about Zoey’s illness, Anthony shared in a long post on Instagram and Facebook about her eldest daughter’s journey.
Zoey also agreed to go bald because her hair was falling out due to the effects of chemotherapy, as part of the treatment process for her disease.
In the said post, the sympathy of celebrities poured in for Zoey.
“Unless I am mistaken Ive never met your baby girl before but please pass my munting message that I admire her for her strength. Kahanga hanga yung lakas ng loob nya na harapin ang pagsubok na to ng buong tapang. Magpagaling ka Zoey. In Gods grace po malalampasan nyo rin ito,” Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said.
Anthony responded and conveyed Pia’s message to his daughter.
Darren Espanto on the other hand noted, “Stay strong Zoey! God bless you!”
Vhong Navarro also commented with three praying hands and heart emojis.
Marlo Mortel noted, “God bless you Zoey! You are an inspiration. Stay strong and always remember that God is our ultimate healer. Keep fighting a good fight of Faith. He hears our prayers.”
And Melai Cantiveros wrote, “Ate Zoey galing naman.”
At present, Zoey is still battling leukemia but it is slowly improving.
