Apple could launch Apple Car in 2021, according to various reports.
Since Apple was eyeing for car production by 2024, tech sites reported that the company might be launching the Apple Car in 2021.
This, as a new reports suggested that Apple’s long rumored electric vehicle could possibly launch in Q3 of 2021 which was two years ahead of its original schedule.
In a report on EconomicDailyNews from Taiwan, Apple might be launching its first automobile in 2021.
A report on MacRumors claimed that suppliers and manufacturers of Apple in Taiwan were preparing to ramp up the production of “Apple Care” components as early as Q2 of 2021.
Apparently, Gizmochina reported that Apple had already started testing dozens of prototypes on the road in California in the United States.

It was last 2017 when Apple received a permit from California’s DMV to test its self driving cars and this was first spotted on an SUV from another brand that’s equipped with its LiDAR technology.
While different reports had pinned the launch date of Apple Car at around 2023 and 2025, the latest report arrived a whole two years earlier than the previous expectations.
The Taiwanese agency also cited an unnamed director from a major Taiwanese manufacturer as its source and this director stated that Apple was targetting a “September 2021 launch”, which wasn’t confirmed by the company itself as of this writing.
Notably, the schedule shifting earlier was highly unlikely considering Apple faced delays because of the pandemic.
