Lee Nadela to Jamir Garcia’s partner: “Please don’t accuse me and Jerry Basco of wrongdoing.”
Lee Nadela, the bassist of the disbanded rock group, Slapshock, reacted to accusations of Sojina Jaya Crisostomo, the partner of late frontman Jamir Garcia.
Recently, Jaya made headlines following her vlog after the singer’s death.
This prompted Lee Nadela to react.
In a Facebook post, he said: “Please don’t accuse me and Jerry Basco of wrongdoing, when we were just speaking out the truth and the injustice done to us.”
Lee pleaded not to blame him and Jerry Basco, the rhythm guitarist at the same time back up vocals of the metalcore band over Jamir’s death.
“Huwag mo sanang gawing galit ang lungkot na nararamdaman nating lahat, at ipasa ang galit sa amin o maghanap ng sisisihin, dahil wala naman talagang nakakaalam ng tunay na dahilan kung bakit nagawa ni Jamir yun,” he said.
Lee stressed that Jaya’s accusations against him and Jerry were “baseless.”
“Either tinatago mo ang katotohanan or wala kang alam at all sa nangyari sa band namin.” he said.
He’s also ready to testify in the court to disprove Jaya’s accusations but he won’t do it at the moment since the family is still mourning the sudden death of Jamir Garcia.
