MYX Philippines was set to host its benefit show for typhoon victims.
MYX Philippines was set to host a benefit show for typhoon victims in the country — the #MYX20 Fundraiser — which would start at 7:00 p.m. today.
This, as MYX Philippines was gathering OPM artists for its 20th anniversary show.
MYX was turning 20 this month and MYX VJs – as well as OPM artists who became part of MYX history – were taking part in its month-long 20th anniversary celebration.
However, the Philippines had been recently struck by a series of typhoons — typhoons Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses.
With this, the #MYX20 Fundraiser sought to bring relief to those who had been displaced or affected by the typhoons that recently struck the Philippines.
In partnership with ABS-CBN Foundation Inc., the said show would feature performances by OPM bands Callalily, 6cyclemind, Hilera, Gracenote, Itchyworms, I Belong To The Zoo, Moonstar88, Mayonnaise, Sponge Cola, Paraluman, and The Juans.
The said show would also feature performances by Darren Espanto, Janine Teñoso, Barbie Almalbis, Clara Benin, Bea Lorenzo, Inigo Pascual, Leanne & Naara, Keiko Necesario, Syd Hartha, and Zach Tabudlo.
All proceeds of the said show would go to Sagip Kapamilya’s “Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-ahon” program.
You can catch the said show at 7:00 p.m. on SKYcable Channel 23 and on Facebook page, Twitter account, and YouTube channel of MYX Philippines as well.
The said show would also air on November 22 through TFC Asia Pacific (APAC) at 12:00 p.m. in Hong Kong, 1:00 p.m. in Japan, 2:00 p.m. in Guam, 3:00 p.m. in Sydney, and 5:00 p.m. in New Zealand.
